I also want to make it clear that my review of the Trixie product is only about the wheel. When I notified ZooPlus customer service of the poor quality and safety issues, they made restitution and requested a photographs of the problems with the wheel. Zooplus has provided me with excellent service and I recommend them an as online shop to everyone!

I'm a design carpenter & wood-worker with 20+ years experience. I made the first wheel for my hamster when he was a baby. It's now too small for him, so I ordered the Trixie wheel. The product is unsafe. The base is attached with pins, not screws, the wood on the wheel is rough with sharp splinters, the cork running track has a big lump where the wood underneath is seamed. I've documented the construction and I'm filing a complaint with the appropriate EU consumer product safety agency.

Laakerit näissä ovat ostettu jostain ö-pinosta, ovat järjestäen rikki ja tästä syystä pyörä ei joko pyöri odotetusti/lainkaan tai pitää järjentöntä meteliä, koska laakeri. Ostin Trixie- juoksupyörän. Juoksupyörä pitää niin kovaa meteliä, että hamsterin häkki piti siirtää pois lastenhuoneesta. Ääni kuuluu häiritsevästi yläkerrasta alakertaan asti. Aikaisemman juoksupyörän aikana hamsterin häkki sai olla nukkumahuoneessa ja oli todella hiljainen. Olen hyvin pettynyt tuotteeseen.
